Chairman Jiang Hui of the China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters (CCCMC) met with Malaysian Minister Unny Sankar Ravi Sankar and his delegation at CCCMC's Yongnian exhibition hall in Beijing today.
The Malaysian delegation invited CCCMC to participate as a key Chinese supporting organization in the "2024 Malaysia-China Summit and Malaysia International Trade and Investment Expo." This summit, scheduled for December 17-19 in Kuala Lumpur, will serve as the culminating event celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia.
Chairman Jiang accepted the invitation and expressed CCCMC's intention to organize relevant industry enterprises to attend the summit at an appropriate time.
During the meeting, both parties reached a consensus on promoting mutual recognition of testing standards for building materials and home furnishing products between China and Malaysia.
Following the discussions, Chairman Jiang accompanied Minister Unny Sankar and his delegation on a tour of exhibition halls featuring some of CCCMC's member enterprises.
