On September 6th, 2022, CCCMC Vice Chairman Liu Danyang met with Dr. Saleh Ibrahem Alghurair, Commercial Attaché of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in China and his colleagues.  

Liu Danyang welcomed Dr. Saleh and his colleagues, introduced the characteristics and basic situation of CCCMC and its member enterprises, as well as China’s metals, minerals & chemicals industry, and stressed that trade between China and Saudi Arabia is highly complementary with great room for future cooperation. He hopes to establish a daily communication mechanism with the commercial office of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in China, so as to exchange business and investment information, facilitate bilateral economic and trade exchanges and make joint efforts to enhance bilateral trade and investment in the related industry.

Dr. Saleh expressed thanks for the invitation to visit by CCCMC and affirmed Vice Chairman Liu’s suggestion, and said the commercial office will maintain close contact with CCCMC and actively promote trade and investment facilitation activities between enterprises of both sides.

Liu Danyang also introduced the 2nd Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum organized by CCCMC which is to open this November, and invited the relevant person in charge of the Saudi Arabia Embassy in China to attend the forum and introduce Saudi Arabia’s business, trade and investment policies and environment.

Dr. Saleh accepted the invitation with pleasure.

Deputy Commercial Attaché Mussad Binhalwan and Secretary Ms. Dima, Director Yin Liyong and  Ms. Gui Jing of the Liaison Department of CCCMC, attended the meeting.
