From September 24th to 26th, 2024, the " African Ambassadors visiting the Bases" activity was successfully carried out in the National Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base (Boxing, Shandong Province), hosted by China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters (CCCMC) and organized by the Alliance of China Business in Africa for Social Responsibilities (ACBASR). Namibian Ambassador to China Elia Kaiyamo, Mauritian Ambassador to China Wong Yen Cheong, Zambian Ambassador to China Ivan Zyuulu and Kenya, Uganda's officials in China and other representatives of the African side, Liu Danyang, Vice President of CCCCM, Diao Chunhe, Executive Chairman of ACBASR, Wang Hong, Deputy Director of Shandong Province's Department of Commerce, Lv Wei, Vice President of ACBASR, and Zhang Ruijie, Vice Mayor of Binzhou city, Sun Zhanyong, Boxing County Governor and other Chinese representatives attended the event and delivered speeches, and jointly witnessed the establishment ceremony of the National Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base (Shandong Boxing).

During the activity, the Chinese and African guests made a field trip to investigate Shandong Wiskind Architectural Steel Co. Ltd, Shandong Xinmeida Technology Materials Co. Ltd., Shandong Fuhai Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and other base enterprises, visited Boxing County Citizen Cultural Center, Science and Technology Museum, Fangzhi Museum and other landmark venues, a comprehensive understanding of Boxing sheet metal industry and business operations as well as the economic and social development of Boxing County, and an in-depth discussion of the new pattern of development of both sides of the opportunities for cooperation, and jointly promote Boxing industry to develop the African market.

The new Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) has just come to a successful conclusion. The leaders of China and Africa gathered in Beijing again after six years to discuss plans for cooperation and achieved fruitful results, which pointed out the direction for the development of China-Africa relations. This activity is a practical action of the Alliance to actively implement the new economic and trade initiatives of the Forum, giving full play to its advantage of “connecting the African market with one hand, and connecting the domestic basic industries and enterprises going global with the other hand”, to help industries matchmaking and help enterprises going abroad.
