The Kenyan Ambassador to China H.E. Willy Bett visited the Alliance


On August 7, 2024, H.E. Willy Bett, the Ambassador of Kenya to China, visited the Alliance and had extensive exchanges with the Executive President Diao Chunhe on recent work and actualized the details of the next step. Both sides hoped that through this meeting, the relevant work would be smoothly promoted to achieve the expected results. Deputy Ambassador of the Kenyan Embassy, H.E. Lynette Mwende Ndile attended the meeting.

 

 

President Diao Chunhe warmly welcomed Ambassador Bett's visit. He introduced the progress of the Alliance's recent preparations for the "China-Africa Industrial Cooperation Conference (CAICC)" to be held after the FOCAC, and gave detailed answers to Ambassador Bett's questions. President Diao invited the Ambassador to visit Chinese industrial bases next month and introduced the general arrangement of the activity. The Alliance hopes to further enhance the African ambassadors' understanding of Chinese bases and enterprises' special products and needs in this way, and promote the effective matchmaking of industrial needs between the two countries.

 

Ambassador Bett thanked President Diao for his warm reception and said that the upcoming activities of the Alliance in September are highly anticipated, and the Embassy will actively participate and assist the Alliance in the relevant work. He communicated with President Diao on the details of his concerns and both sides have reached an agreement. In addition, the ambassador expressed interests in the activity of visiting Chinese enterprises' bases, listened to the needs of enterprises and seek potential connection points between Chinese and Kenyan industries.
