In order to assist our member enterprises in exploring trade channels and seeking extensive cooperation, on December 3rd, 2021, Trade Representative Office of the Russian Federation to China and CCCMC jointly held a Sino-Russian fertilizer B2B cloud docking conference. CCCMC Vice Chairwoman Qian Jingfen and Director Sidorenko Konstantin of the Economic and Trade Cooperation Office of the Trade Representative Office of the Russian Federation to China attended the conference and delivered speeches.

Director Sidorenko said that Russia-China cooperation has developed rapidly in recent years, and Russia-China trade plays an important role in Russia’s economic and trade activities. Russian enterprises can provide high-quality fertilizers, while agriculture is very important in China. Therefore, the two sides have a very good foundation for cooperation. It is hoped that the enterprises of both sides will establish good cooperation relations through this activity.

Vice Chairwoman Qian Jingfen said in her speech that with the establishment of the "China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era," bilateral cooperation in various fields has shown a good trend of development, especially in trade cooperation. Bilateral trade volume has exceeded 100 billion US dollars in successive years, and bilateral trade has increased by over 30 per cent in the first ten months of this year. She pointed out that China and Russia have extensive room for cooperation in the petrochemical field, and in the future, CCCMC will strengthen contact and cooperation with the Trade Representative Office of the Russian Federation to China to further enhance the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries in the minerals and chemicals industries, which will bring the trade volume between the two countries to a new level.

Five Russian fertilizer manufacturers in the fields of peat, organic fertilizers, humic acid and mineral fertilizers, including Russian Peat Company and EuroPeat, briefly introduced their enterprises and product characteristics respectively. Nearly 100 people from more than 30 member enterprises in the chemical fertilizer industry logged onto the online conference client to participate.

The online docking conference of Chinese and Russian fertilizer enterprises came into being under the special background of the pandemic, which met the demand of Chinese and Russian enterprises at the present stage and received positive feedback from the participating enterprises.
