China Sanitary Ware Innovation Summit 2019 successfully held in Shanghai

On May 29, China Sanitary Ware Innovation Summit 2019 was successfully held in Shanghai. The purpose of this forum is to build a platform for enterprises of the sanitary ware industry to communicate and link up the upstream and downstream industrial chains, to help our plumbing and sanitary ware enterprises understand the current industry development trend and correctly implement the strategy of innovation and transformation. CCCMC Vice Chairman Jiang Hui, Vice Chairwoman Qian Jingfen and Deputy Director Liu Yi of the Foreign Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce of China attended the meeting. More than 120 people from Tangshan, Yuhuan, Luqiao, Wenzhou, Xiamen, Nan'an, Foshan, Chaozhou, Kaiping, Heshan and other plumbing and sanitary ware production areas’ government, business authorities, business representatives attended the meeting.

 

Vice Chairman Jiang Hui delivered a speech on behalf of CCCMC. He offered an in-depth analysis of the development history of China's sanitary ware industry, enterprises’ development experience and existing problems of China's plumbing and sanitary ware industry, especially the way out and prospects of enterprises under the background of the escalation of Sino-US trade frictions. Vice Chairman Jiang stressed that in the process of transformation and upgrading, the industries need to help each other, integrate resources and channels, learn from each other and increase exchanges among enterprises. Jiang Hui put forward the ideas and directions for the next step of CCCMC to serve the plumbing and sanitary ware industry. First, to carry out industry docking activities to link up the upstream and downstream industrial chains; second, to convene a summit of the CEOs of the industry to gather elites and talk together for development; third, to promote enterprises to "go out" on the basis of corporate social responsibility alliances in Africa; fourth, to actively and steadily deal with Sino-US trade frictions and enhance the confidence of the whole industry.


Leading enterprise experts from Lota, JOMOO, Huida and Hansgrohe shared their experience with the attendees on the development trend of the plumbing and sanitary ware industry and the development experience of the enterprises themselves. Xu Chuankai, general manager of Lota (Xiamen) Industry Co., Ltd., introduced Lota's technological innovation experience, intelligent manufacturing strategy and lean production mode, and made a forward-looking analysis of the future development trend of water tap and shower caddy, which gave great inspiration to the attendees. Vice President Yan Zhen of JOMOO Kitchen & Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. introduced JOMOO's 30-year development experience of focusing on high-end sanitary ware, which has always been making products with ingenuity and leading innovation with user experience. JOMOO leads and supports the national toilet revolution and participates in public welfare undertakings, and also shows the sense of responsibility and humanistic care of sanitary ware enterprises.

 

Li Zenghui, Director of International Marketing Department of Huida Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. shared Huida's experience and practices in building new international advantages on innovative transformation, overseas brand building and brand image upgrading. As a master of all-sanitary space development, Huida is committed to bringing consumers a more intimate and convenient life experience, constantly practicing the brand idea of "every stay, is to enjoy". Song Jing, Vice CEO of Hansgrohe China, was confident in the development of the industry and boosted the morale of the attendees. He shared the specific cases of Hansgrohe’s focus on market segmentation and innovation, and put forward three valuable suggestions for the future industry, namely, paying attention to future industry trends and new business laws, paying attention to technical means and solutions, and focusing on the enterprise's own positioning.

 



Chairman Wang Xinkui of Shanghai WTO Affairs Consultation Center made a special speech on the contraction of global value chain in manufacturing industry and the trend of economic globalization, reminding enterprises to face up to the protracted nature, complexity and durability of Sino-US trade war and make long-term preparations. Chairman Wang suggested that enterprises should pay attention to the major changes in the current domestic and international economic situation, and do a good job in their subdividing industries, so as to meeting changes with constancy and to smoothly survive the uncertain period in the next few years.

 

Li Qiaolan, head of Home Decoration & Building Materials Industry Dept. of Imall.1688.com, introduced the new opportunities and challenges in the digital era of industrial building materials brand. Liang Yuanhua, Director of Meijia Industry in Aliyun New Retail Business Department, and Zhu Gangqiang, founder of Jacob Column, respectively share their views on new retailing and supply chain management. Digital procurement and management is an important trend of the connection between buyers and sellers, which will improve the efficiency and reduce the cost of enterprises.

 

Director Guo Hongjun of the Department of General Business of CCCMC, on behalf of CCCMC, released the Development Report of China's Plumbing and Sanitary Ware Industry in 2018. The report is divided into industry and commodity chapters, which comprehensively analyzed the overall situation of China's plumbing and sanitary ware industry in 2018.



 

In the "Industry Dialogue" section of the summit, Zhu Gangqiang, the founder of Jacob column, Lin Huayou, chairman of ORans Holdings Co., Ltd., Li Zenghui, sales director of the international marketing department of Huida Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd., Su Mingye, general manager of FLOVA Bath & Kitchen, and Li Qiaolan, head of Home Decoration & Building Materials Industry Dept. of Imall.1688.com, had a heated discussion on how to face challenges and seize opportunities in the new situation. Specifically, it exchanged in-depth opinions on the opportunities and challenges of brand building in China's plumbing and sanitary industry, domestic and foreign market rules and environment, pricing strategy, channel mode, and the impact of Sino-US trade war. The guests believed that products, channels and after-sales services were the key to the construction of overseas brands. Every brand has a way of growth. Deep cultivation of users’ needs and providing best service experience is one of the best choices. The ability of enterprises to withstand the long-term test of the market will be strengthened by making them specialize and accumulate slowly.

 

This summit has successfully went through all the agenda, truly become a platform for the dialogue between wise people and industry exchanges, and achieved the positive effect of sharing views on industry trends and industry development. The atmosphere at the meeting was warm and received unanimous praise from the participants.
