CCCMC Vice Chairman Liu Danyang meets with deputy representative of GTAI (Germany Trade and Invest) in China and director of Hamburg Liaison Office Beijing

On November 23, 2020, CCCMC Vice Chairman Liu Danyang met with Ms. Zheng Jie, the visiting Deputy Representative of GTAI (Germany Trade and Invest) in China, and Ms. Ma Lina, Director of Hamburg Liaison Office Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on promoting import and export trade between China and Germany, inspections and investments, exhibitions and conferences, online and offline activities, etc.


Ms. Zheng Jie introduced the efforts made by the Representative Office of GTAI (Germany Trade and Invest) in China to promote exchanges and cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, education, culture, tourism and information media. Ms. Ma Lina said that Hamburg Port is the largest sea-rail intermodal port in Europe, and more than half of the total trade volume between China and Germany is completed through Hamburg Port. Hamburg Liaison Office in China is the official organization in China representing the Hamburg municipal government, Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, Hamburg Invest (HWF), Hamburg Tourism (HHT), Hamburg City Promotion Bureau and Hamburg Port Marketing Association. It is hoped that the two sides will strengthen contact and have more cooperation opportunities, and jointly promote the implementation of more cooperation projects.


Liu Danyang introduced to the guests the history and current situation of CCCMC, as well as the service platforms provided by CCCMC to the industry and enterprises. Guided by the concept of "service", CCCMC actively promotes the establishment of close ties with foreign industry organizations. The novel coronavirus epidemic has brought a great impact on international trade since the beginning of 2020. In the future, trade promotion can take flexible and diverse forms, and make use of the advantages of both sides to accurately dock relevant products, jointly hold video promotion meetings, trade forums, inspections and investments, to explore new trade channels for Chinese and German enterprises. He also invited the guests to participate in the first International Forum on Sustainable Mineral Supply Chains 2020 and Week of Sustainable Supply Chains hosted by CCCMC.


The two sides agreed to choose the appropriate time and way to introduce German investment policies to the member enterprises of CCCMC through relevant online and offline activities, so as to meet the demands of enterprises for investment in Germany, and establish a timely information exchange mechanism to enhance the business information exchange between enterprises of both sides.


Director of CCCMC Liaison Department Yin Liyong , Liaison Department Li Qing, CCCMC Mineral Products Department Director Chen Mingliang, Director of CCCMC Petroleum and Chemicals Department Zhang Airong , Deputy Director of CCCMC Hardware & Building Materials Department Zuo Yongsheng, and Deputy Director of CCCMC Development Department Li Tiantian, attended the meeting and had business exchanges with the visitors.
